Workshop Services
We can accommodate a wide range of jobs from small repairs to full on builds. Our technicians bring their years of experience to work on motorcycles from all manufacturers, of any type, size and age. Our workshop is open from 9am – 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 4pm Saturday.
Whether your motorcycle needs servicing and maintenance, fault finding and repairs, new tyres or parts, engine rebuild, dyno testing or performance improvements, suspension service, rebuild or upgrade, rewiring, vapour blasting, ultrasonic cleaning or friendly, well-informed advice about repair solutions;
Moto-Edit’s skills, knowledge and facilities can keep your bike in top condition.
MOT Tests
Our friendly, qualified motorcycle MOT testers assess your motorcycle, scooter, moped or motorcycle combination to the MOT test standards to ensure it is fit for the road. The MOT inspection will include advisories to identify any developing issues that could affect the safety and performance of your motorcycle.
If we discover any issues, we will discuss repair options with you and find a solution to suit your budget and get your motorcycle safely back on the road.
MOT tests take 30-40 minutes and can be carried out while you wait between 9:00am and 7:30pm Monday to Friday.
The current fee, set by the government, is £29.65.
Servicing
Regular servicing prolongs your motorcycle’s life by reducing wear and damage, improves performance and ensures your bike stays in the best condition.
Our full service for your motorcycle covers a detailed inspection and maintenance of your bike’s engine and chassis. This includes checking for wear on controls, cables, brakes, tyres, drive chain, bearings and suspension, checking and lubricating all pivots and levers, checking and torquing fastenings, checking electrics and changing engine oil and filters, brake fluid and coolant. It also includes maintenance tasks relevant to the manufacturer’s technical information, such as adjusting valve clearances, balancing carburettors, and checking and tensioning cam chains.
We will advise of any developing problems and discuss repair solutions to suit your budget, timescale and needs.
Diagnostics and Fault Finding
Our experienced technicians employ advanced diagnostic equipment to identify faults and performance issues with the key systems on your motorcycle including engine management, ignition, fuel injection, gearbox, battery, braking, lighting, cooling and security.
The data is analysed and interpreted, and we will advise on the best way to rectify the issue.

We can rebuild engines, overhaul brakes, repair frames and swinging arms, rebuild suspension or carry out rewiring. We perform ultrasonic cleaning and vapour blasting, fabrications and restorations, so whether it’s engine work, electrical, chassis, accident or theft damage, we can offer a full range of repair services to get your motorcycle feeling better again.
